An outline of the division-level NASA science allocations from the FY2024 enacted budget, the FY2026 PBR, the FY2026 Senate CJS report, and the FY2026 House CJS report. The House report directs NASA to continue making progress towards the scientific goals outlined in the decadal surveys.

As part of our popular "Career Profile series", we highlight Natasha Patel, an Astronomy and Astrophysics Major and Mathematics and Computational Sciences minor at Schreyer Honors College at Penn State and Penn State Eberly College of Science. Natasha is an outreach and research assistant with the McEntaffer Group and just last semester held an incredible internship at the Vikram A Sarabhai Community Science Centre in Gujarat, India, an institution foundational to India’s scientific outreach and space education efforts.

Professor Dougherty is the first woman to be appointed Astronomer Royal in the post's 350-year history and will act as the official adviser to King Charles III on astronomical matters.

The American Institute of Physics is launching a major initiative documenting and celebrating women’s contributions to the physical sciences. As part of this initiative, women at all stages of their physical science careers are invited to document their experiences and to contribute them for consideration for inclusion in the collections of AIP’s Niels Bohr Library and Archives.

The FY25 SWE Senate Strategic Initiative Subteam focused on exploring the current state of allyship within SWE, defining effective allyship, and identifying areas for improvement and growth. By examining existing challenges, available resources, and best practices, we provided actionable recommendations that enhance ally engagement.
