Many of my friends who are in academia use autonyms (that is, a name the person chose for him/herself, sometimes referred to as pseudonyms or persistent pseudonyms) to separate their professional persona from their personal persona. Of course, no separation is 100% fool-proof (or warrant-proof), but at least this adds an additional layer.<br /><br />So in sum, I think forbidding fully anonymous but allowing pseudonyms is also an acceptable solution. zandperlhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01700239961953729095noreply@blogger.com
